Boundary Community Launderette was established in 1990 by residents of the Boundary Estate with the support of the Environment Trust. Despite initial doubts about its survival, the not-for-profit community enterprise has been in operation since September 1992, with two of the original directors still leading the organization. The launderette offers self-service and service wash facilities and employs 4 staff members overseen by a team of voluntary directors.
