Ecolibrium

Ecolibrium is a community within the live events industry that has come together to address the climate crisis by taking action to reduce travel impacts and invest in climate solutions. Originally known as 'Energy Revolution,' the initiative was founded in 2015 as a response to COP21 and research showing that travel accounts for 80% of a festival's carbon emissions. With founding festival members such as Shambala, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party, and Kendal Calling, and guidance from Julie's Bicycle, Ecolibrium has seen its members make significant changes to reduce travel emissions and invest in renewable energy and tree planting, balancing the equivalent of over 13 million miles.
