The Russet

The Russet is a hidden oasis in the heart of the creative community of Hackney Downs Studios, elegantly decorated in a rustic, upcycled style. It offers big breakfasts, hearty lunches, beautiful cakes, artisan gelato, and modern tapas by night, complemented by interesting wines, local beers, and botanical cocktails. The space also hosts a diverse range of events, from family-focused daytime activities to evening music, cinema, cabaret, and workshops. The name "The Russet" was inspired by the apple orchard planted by the Tree Musketeers just inside Hackney Downs park, and the space continues to grow alongside the surrounding warehouse of Hackney Downs Studios.
